At the time of writing this Tristan and anna have already enjoyed their big day at the Great Barn in Higham. However, looking back to very early on in August I remember meeting with the couple for the very first time close to Tristan's Barracks in London's Hyde Park.
Now when discussing possible places to visit for their engagement shoot the main thing that was discussed was privacy. Somewhere we could go to be away from the gaze of everybody else, somewhere that Anna and Tristan could relax and feel fully comfortable in front of the camera. As it turned out (not to too much surprise) we didn't get this at Hyde Park, especially as it ended up being the hottest day we had had for a few weeks, every human being in London filled Hyde park from one corner to the other, hahaha.
This however did not matter one little bit. Just a couple of minutes in, a few shots taken and a couple of samples shown to Anna and Tristan and we were up and running. Despite the crowds we were still able to find little spaces to make it appear we were alone. Once again I suggested meeting with them a little later in the day so we could make good use of the setting summer sun, something I encourage from every couple.
The results were sensational, wonderful couple, amazing location and the best time of day for a couples shoot.
