Martyn & Daisy @ The Ferry House
Here we go….we start off a double whammy weekend of Ferry House mega-ness with the very amazing Martyn and Daisy. It’s not a lie to say that the plans for this day had provided quite a bit of excitement in the prep…this was felt by everyone involved.
With the help from the very awesome Idylic Days Event Hire Daisy and Martyn put together a day that was as gorgeously and elegantly styled as it was fun, relaxed and full of enjoyment. Not to forget, of course, the ever incredible ladies of the Ferry House, their running and hosting of this very incredible event was, as ever, top notch.
Martyn and Daisy made great use of everything that the Ferry House and the neighbouring Mocketts Farm Cottages has to offer. Daisy and her entourage of Bridesmaids, Brides-man and awesome as hell Mum put the Ferry Houses Powder room through its paces, whilst Martyn and the Groomsmen made great use of the cottage accommodation just round the corner…..accommodation that, I hear, was very much used to the extremes as it hosted a next day, all day, party.
An outdoor ceremony, marquee eatery and a barn set dance floor provided the locations for the day. The sun finally made its appearance over Kent for the entire weekend, leaving us all to soak it up for the post ceremony drinks and left us all a little more red faced and tanned than we had arrived.
Highlight after highlight could NOT have prepared everyone for the grand finale to the speeches and first dance, as the MoB joined the band (who, by the way, were bloody awesome) to bash out some Christina Perry, much to the astonishment of daughter Daisy…..pics below tell that one.
