Louis & Daisy @ The Seahorse In Brighton
Well, well, what on earth can be said about this truly epic day down in Brighton? Louis and Daisy did it Brighton style back in May. For me it was a day fuelled on adrenaline, taking in the whole of what Brighton had on offer…..the best bits of it that is.
Due to the day taking in numerous locations there was little chance to put too many plans in place, so I relied hugely on my abilities to go with the flow, think on my feet, and let the day play out in front of me.
Daisy and Louis started their day in separate BnBs many streets apart….oh I did get my steps in this day, a good 17000 as I seem to remember. My already battered and well worn pair of shoes unfortunately died a death after today, the bin was waiting their arrival as soon as I got home, bless them.
Daisy and Louis’ ceremony at the very amazing Brighton Town Hall was everything I had hoped for, we even managed to steal a few minutes around the inside of the building post ceremony, prior to the confetti chuck outside. I bit to the annoyance of the Town Halls registrars, but hey, when you have a staircase like they have at the Brighton Town Hall you’ve got to expect these things haha!
Following on from their awesome confetti throwing we strolled the back streets of Brighton on the look out for the local Photomatix. Like I said I did get the step-meter buzzing. From here a very impromptu, and rather fortunate bit of hitch-hiking took us back to the seafront and the incredible Seahorse restaurant overlooking the beach, which we nothing short of INCREDIBLE….what a view.
The views from the Seahorse restaurant were utterly perfect and really went with the overall vibe of Louis and Daisy’s incredible day, I really will never forget this.
A huge shout out to everyone involved in this day, especially Daisy and Louis, thank you for having me along for the ride. Your day, and you yourselves will be here with me in the memory bank forever.
